Joining Our Meetup Group

Did you know a group just went to San Diego for the AFC Half?  Stay up to date on who is running what run and what social events are happening.  If you want to see what run, events or social gatherings are coming up, you can look at our website calendar, or you can join the meetup group and see who is taking part.  Just click here to join the meetup group.  We now have over eighty members on the site, but we need all our active members to really make it work well.

Dear Frontrunners,

It is our fall time to play at Rainbows and switch to Papago.  Check below for upcoming events.

Rainbows Festival

The Rainbows Festival is fast approaching - Oct 2-3. Gary Craine and Mike Weaver are looking for help and support in both setup and manning (or womaning) the booth.

An electronic sign-up sheet is now available on our website.

A huge 'Thank You' to Scott Greenberg for making that happen!

AIDS Walk

Start off your Sunday of Rainbows weekend by joining the AIDS Walk/5K run.  You can sign up at the
Frontrunners page on the AIDS Walk website.

This is the first year that the AIDS Walk has included a 5K Run.  The AIDS Walk organizers are looking to AZFrontrunners and our friends to start a core group and help to make the 5K a success.  We would like to have a large contingent of frontrunners out there with everyone wearing your blue AZFrontrunner shirts.

Come out and help us be the change you want to see.

Support Troy's Toy Drive

Troy Alwood at  A Family Affair Pet Grooming is organizing a toy drive (to benefit Phoenix Children's Hospital) for children infected or affected by HIV or AIDS. It runs through December 4th, details are available at all runs.  Toys must be new and in original packaging.  No stuffed animals.

You can drop them off at Troy's place, A Family Affair, 3004 N 16th St, or at the other places listed on Troy's website. Thank you Troy for making a difference.

Frontrunner Shirts

We are ordering more club t-shirts. These will be long sleeve tech shirts with the same logo/colors as the short sleeved.  Also, by popular request, we are getting a limited number of tanks. The tank tops will be white and carry the artwork in blue. For more information contact Phil.

Find Your Favorite Runners at the Zoo

It is that time of year again.  Think CHANGE.  Due to Rainbows falling on the October 2nd, we have decided to leave the Saturday run/walk at the downtown location for that day. We will move to Papago Park on October 9th for the winter months.
